PROJECT #1

Hurricane Matthew Project (October 2016) - this hurricane has caused major flooding in several areas on the east coast of the United States.  Specifically, Lumberton, North Carolina was severely impacted.  My great-grandmother lives less than 30 miles from Lumberton.  I am collecting as many children's clothes, toys and books to donate to schools, churches and charities in Lumberton.  My grandfather is driving a 26' truck there on Saturday, October 22, 2016.  If you have any items to donate, please email me at cjcares.org@gmail.com or call my dad (Kelvin) at 202-409-4129 for drop-off or pickup information.  We will be collecting items through Friday, October 21, 2016.  I AM MY BROTHER'S KEEPER.

PROJECT #2

My grandpa donated cases and cases of dry goods to my charity.  I was able to support an organization called Bethesda Cares by giving them cereal, cookies, breakfast bars and snacks for the homeless community in Bethesda, Maryland.
